The Estates and Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF) is a multi-million pound investment boost in GP premises and technology to improve and expand out of hospital care for patients.
The CCG has successfully secured £3.8m ETTF funding to support three projects. :
- New build – Hope House Community Hub
A new primary healthcare facility and community hub for Radstock and the surrounding area
- Improvement – Expansion at Oldfield site
Development of a new Multispecialty Community Provider (MCP) facility for the Heart of Bath group (comprising Oldfield Surgery, St James’s Surgery and the University Medical Centre)
- Technology – Patient Activation and Access
Implementation of online consultations and new websites across all practices plus extended funding for the Patient Partner telephone booking system.
The CCG is very happy to see this new investment coming into B&NES, particularly as we feared we may be overlooked completely. All three successful projects fit with the vision set out in our Statement of Intent for Primary Care and are a great example of how the CCG and practices are working together to improve the service we offer for local people.
